XMP in Esko's Applications
Production critical metadata is embedded in each Adobe PDF file exported from an Esko workflow system. Metadata is instrumental in optimizing communication between the different production steps in the packaging workflow. Esko is using Adobe's industry standard technology XMP for this purpose. A free downloadable plug-in for Adobe Reader and Adobe Acrobat Professional is available to display Esko's XMP production metadata in a user-friendly way.
